Our Pub
Why Our Pub is Great
You can expect a warm welcome from our team, at The Golden Lion; we are easy to find, in the heart of picturesque Barnard Castle and provide free parking and disabled access for our customers. We’re renowned for great food and drink, in stunning surroundings. Our home is within the walls of the town’s oldest pub, established in the 17th century, maintaining many of its original features, including an open fire.
Save on the washing up, get some friends together and join us for dinner. Food is served from noon, so whether you’re stopping by for lunch or dinner, you’ll find delicious pub classics - fish and chips, lasagne, grills, burgers and more.
